MIKE REIMER, Director of Operations
The Ultimate Outdoorsman

Like his wife, Mike's role in Churchill Wild is twofold; he is both a Director of Operations and the Ultimate Outdoorsman His love for all things created led him north after high school to realize his dream of becoming a wilderness guide & outfitter; and realize it he did. Mike is an invaluable asset in the bush. He has paddled, hiked, boated, flown over, dog sledded, snowmobiled, and explored over a hundred thousand square miles of the sub arctic land he loves. Mike is a jack-of-all-trades and master of all. The leadership and management that Mike and Jeanne have provided at the lodges has undoubtedly created the repeat business Churchill Wild is famous for.

JEANNE REIMER
Director of Operations, Business Manager, 3rd generation Churchillian

Jeanne is both a Director of Operations with Churchill Wild and an incredible chef. Her cooking skills are legendary, and an invitation to her table is never turned down. Together with her husband Mike, a transplanted prairie dog, they have built what was and still is the first eco lodge on the Hudson Bay. Seal River Heritage Lodge (one of Churchill Wild’s three wilderness lodges) has become a Mecca for wildlife enthusiasts from all parts of the globe who are eager to view polar bears, swim with whales, and hike the tundra all while being wined and dined in 5-Star arctic fashion.

DOREEN BOOTH, Adventure Specialist

Born and raised in Kitimat, BC, a small town nestled among the province’s legendary coastal Mountains, Doreen lived near the ocean and enjoyed sharing the land with the many species of wildlife in the area. Being a heavily wooded area she became accustomed to having to watch out for cougars and bears at every twist in the trail and that may be what made her connect with Churchill Wild.

Living and working in Whitehorse, Yukon and Winnipeg, Manitoba Doreen focused on the fields of accounting, administration and customer service.  Doreen is as organized as she is enthusiastic and will ensure that she gives you all the details you require as well as her first hand accounts of Churchill Wild adventures.

ANDY MACPHERSON, Guide Extraordinaire

Andy MacPherson joined our team in 2007.  Living his dream of working in the outdoors has enabled Andy to guide trips as diverse as kayaking with manatees in Belize, stalking musk ox with a camera on the tundra in the Northwest Territories and rafting the Zambezi River. Andy excels at making science both simple and spellbinding.
