North Knife Lake Lodge on the other hand is located an approximate 200 km southwest of Churchill and thus is located in the boreal forest as opposed to the tundra ecosystem.  This area is dominated by black and white spruce, balsam fir and tamarack and is home to a resident pack of grey wolves, moose, black bear and many more.
