Great Ice Bear Tour
The Great Ice Bear Tour of 2008 was the most memorable trip ever for me! The bears were amazing! I still have to pinch myself to realize that it wasn’t just a wonderful dream – hiking the tundra with Polar Bears! A lifelong dream come true. I have great photographs of this trip. The staff, the food, the other participants, were all just great. What a special adventure! I can’t thank Churchill Wild enough for this most special of experiences! Everyone should do this at least once in their life. I felt privileged to be “allowed” into the bears’ territory, to watch them go about their daily routines, to share their trails, without any apparent unease about our presence. How very lucky we are! And how proud i am to be a Canadian – this is “my back yard”!!
