We see polar bears in the summer! Our most popular package, Birds, Bears, and Belugas takes place in July and August at Seal River Heritage Lodge, which recently became a member of National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World.

Scheduled at our Seal River Heritage Lodge in the heart of polar bear season in October and November, the Polar Bear Photo Safari is a must-do for professional and aspiring photographers.

It provides discerning photographers the opportunity to experience ground-level polar bear photography as the bears congregate in large numbers along Hudson Bay coast waiting for the Bay to freeze so they can begin their annual seal hunt. Learn more…

The Summer Dual Lodge Safari is one of two dual-lodge itineraries that give you the opportunity to experience the best of what Churchill Wild has to offer at both  Seal River Heritage Lodge and Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge, where you’ll have access to polar bears, beluga whales, black bears, wolves, northern lights and much more. This unique safari also includes a day in Churchill, the polar bear capital of the world.

The Arctic Safari takes place in Canada’s last remaining wilderness, from the Arctic “Serengeti” the great tundra plains known as The Barren Lands, through “The Land of Little Sticks” and finally down to the rugged Hudson Bay coastline, home of the Great White Bears.
